AMD's fourth generation unified video decoder (UVD) supports dual-stream high-definition (HD) decode, along with decode support of H.264 and VC-1, and entropy decode of MPEG-2 HD and MPEG-4 Part 2 (DivX® and Xvid) content. The integrated HD audio controller and codec supports linear PCM and 7.1 channels of compressed HD audio with digital rights management (DRM) for HDMI™ and DisplayPort outputs.
