NVIDIA Quadro® professional solutions deliver the fastest application performance, the highest quality workstation graphics and are fully certified on all industry-leading professional applications. But raw performance and quality are only the beginning--NVIDIA Quadro takes the leading computer-aided design (CAD), digital content creation (DCC), and visualization applications to a new level of interactivity by enabling unprecedented capabilities in performance, programmability, and precision.

NVIDIA Quadro® FX family offers a variety of specialty products that meet the needs of demanding workstation professionals:

NVIDIA Quadro SDI

NVIDIA Quadro® SDI, option card is the ideal solution for digital broadcast professionals, who use various applications such as virtual-sets, sports, and weather news systems to composite live video footage onto virtual backgrounds and send the result to live video for TV broadcast. NVIDIA Quadro SDI solutions also allow film production, post-production, and finishing professionals to preview the results of 3D compositing, editing, and color grading in real time on high definition (HD) broadcast monitors. This graphics-to-video-out solution delivers uncompressed 8-, 10-, or 12-bit SDI from programmable graphics, enabling a direct connection to broadcast monitors, switchers, tape decks, or SDI projectors.
Available Solutions: Quadro FX 5600, 5500, 4600, and 4500.

NVIDIA Quadro G-Sync

NVIDIA Quadro® G-Sync is an option card for the NVIDIA Quadro® FX ultra-high-end graphics solutions. Featuring frame lock, genlock, and swap lock functionality, the Quadro G-Sync delivers unprecedented levels of industrial realism, visualization, and collaborative capabilities by enabling advanced multi-system and multi-device visualization environments.

The NVIDIA Quadro G-Sync board is designed to fit into any available expansion slot within 6 inches of the NVIDIA Quadro FX G-Sync connector. The board derives all data and power directly from the NVIDIA Quadro graphics solution.

Available in two versions, the Quadro G-Sync is designed to be combined with NVIDIA Quadro FX 5500 and 4500 only and G-Sync II is designed to be combined with NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 and 4600 only.

Frame lock allows the display channels from multiple workstations to be synchronized, thus creating one large "virtual display" that can be driven by a multisystem cluster for performance scalability.

Genlock allows the graphics output to be synchronized to an external source, typically for film and broadcast video applications.
